We only received about 2″ of snow overnight.   Our trails remain closed for now.   We are hoping to do some grooming/packing this week with our light drags.  Snow is even marginal for that.   The blowing snow will end up in our ditches and along our fence lines...

We finished packing the last of our sloughs today.  Ice conditions are the best they have been in several years due to lower water in the sloughs. The down side to that is the edges are now frozen bogs as the water doesn’t cover them.   Either way, we need snow...

DATA Trails are closed as we have only a dusting of snow currently in Douglas County.  We have most of our sloughs packed, and ready for snow.  The water levels have been down in the majority of them this year.   Thin ice factors should not be an issue this year going...
