We are out grooming all trails this week. We have some more terraces to build, ditches to fill in, but if today goes well, we should be able to open all trails for riding tomorrow. If you are out riding, ride the edges of the trails to help pack the snow down, rather than going right down the center. Check out the map which shows the days each trail is groomed.
Happy Saturday to All!! We groomed the following trail loops yesterday and they are open this morning for riding. The Moon Ridge, Chippewa, Ida Valley loop. Also, the 2 Pole, Sikaso, Prairie loop as well as the South, Viking, and YMCA trails (to get back to the shop). Those trails are open for riding. The Central Lakes trail is also open (we’ll be regrooming it tomorrow after the new snow). We only groomed these dirt trails once, (and a second time today) so use caution as they are still rough in field areas. Please stay on marked trails and be safe! Thanks
Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6-7 inches of snow overnight in Garfield!! The Central Lakes trail is open for riding. The “dirt trails” are closed yet. We will be packing/grooming some of the dirt trails today. I’ll keep you posted as to when/what is open. Thanks.
The Staff at Lake Carlos State Park has asked that snowmobilers please be respectful by staying on designated snowmobile trails and off ski trails!
